Customising themes
Elliot Jay Stocks to strip back my homepage to a theme without visual styling. This gives a blank canvas to build my template on. Without this, I would have to use an existing WordPress theme and fight the styling all the way to acheive what I want.
The screencasts from css-tricks.com on ‘Designing for WordPress’ have been very helpful.
I’ve added the Akismet Plugin, which is the main WP plugin for filtering Spam comments. I’ve also added the All-In-One SEO plugin. I haven’t explored it’s features yet; I think it optimizes your post titles, and lets you add meta data to posts, etc.
Will post agian soon with further progress.
I’ve found the comments.php page, so I thought I should leave a comment tp test it out!!
